students are expected to be aware of critical international issues such as world peace, nation security, and the global refugee crisis
whereby they take part in an in-depth discussion at the international level. As a consequence,
they will be equipped with a global awareness and global mind which is essential to become a global citizen.
It is notable that students in GAIC MUN playa leading role in a variety of activities involved in the conference,
ranging from organizing the UN secretariat to operating it accordingly. Not only will there be Korean students,
there will also be international participants from various Asian countries including Japan, Hong Kong, Philippines and India.
A wide range of global agendas will be allocated, in which the committee is largely divided into two groups consisting of
three high school and five middle school departments. Each participant will be carrying out its assigned role based on the positions.
In particular, journalist will be reporting various issues arising during the conference
and publish them in the form of newspapers to distribute to participants.
