Hello, this is the Chinese Department of Gyeonggi Academy of Foreign Languages.
In the 21st National Chinese Song Contest for Middle and High School Students, Jin Yoojeong, a 3rd grade student in the Chinese Department, received the Bronze Prize (Director of the Confucius Institute at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies) in the Solo Performance category.  The student captivated the audience and received high praise with a passionate performance of “Big Fish” by Zhou Shen.
This contest was organized by the Korean Chinese Teachers’ Association and co-hosted by the Seoul Confucius Academy and the Sogang University Institute for East Asian Studies, with support from six organizations including the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Korea.  Among 14 teams that advanced to the finals after fierce preliminary rounds nationwide, this meaningful achievement was made possible through the teacher’s meticulous guidance and the student’s consistent effort.
Gyeonggi Academy of Foreign Languages will continue to actively support and encourage students as they take on diverse challenges and grow through these experiences.  Congratulations once again on this wonderful award!
